Maine Roots Counseling

I am an independent therapist with a practice based online and within 2 different school districts. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Husson University and received my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands in 2022. My therapeutic approach includes components from many modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed therapy, mindfulness, play and art therapy, and client centered therapy.

A school-based approach

While I serve clients of all ages, I specialize in working with children and teens in a school setting. This allows me to directly coordinate with school staff and meet clients in the environment in which they spend a great deal of their time. I am currently working in the Lisbon Middle School and Durham Community School.

Telehealth

I offer telehealth services to clients of all ages using a confidentially compliant video platform. In order to engage in telehealth services, please make sure you have video capability and a private space.
